ESNAAD was established in 2002 by the merger of two ADNOC Group Companies, namely, Abu Dhabi Drilling Chemicals and Products Ltd. (ADDCAP) and National Marine Services Company (NMS). The main objective of merger was to combine and consolidate the resources of two companies in order to provide integrated and comprehensive support to oil and gas sector particularly to those engaged in offshore activities. ESNAAD is a 100% ADNOC owned entity.

ESNAAD owns and operates a strategically located, professionally designed Mussafah Offshore Supply Base which extends over 1.3 million square meters and is fully geared up with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of the oil & gas industry. The Base is equipped with highly sophisticated fire detection and fire fighting system, provides round the clock security through an access control procedure.

DRILLING & PRODUCTION CHEMICALS
ESNAAD produces basic Drilling Mud Chemicals such as barite, bentonite and attapulgite from imported raw materials through its fully automated Grinding Plant in the Base. The Company is capable of meeting customers requirements at short notice at all times from the adequate stocks maintained at its facilities, thus alleviating the need for clients to maintain excessive stocks. It has also developed various packing and delivery systems to suit customers requirements such as paper bags, jumbo bags, bulk tanker delivery to customers silos, direct pumping into supply boats etc. All these facilities, in addition to the prompt and efficient delivery methods, are making ESNAAD an increasingly attractive source of supply.

ESNAAD also produces the complete range of Production Chemicals in its Blending Plant. The portfolio of production chemicals, which ESNAAD offers, includes Corrosion inhibitors, Scale inhibitors, Biocides, Oxygen Scavengers, Hydrogen Sulphide Scavengers, Wax inhibitors, Asphaltine dispersants, Deoilers, Demulsifiers, Drag reducers etc. All chemical products, both related to Drilling and Production, meet international quality standards.
