Aikah was founded in the year 1979 by Mr Mohammed Tayyeb Khoory, whose keen business acumen has brought the company to its present position thereby widening its horizons, and reinforcing its stand in the engineering equipment and industrial product market.

The company has 4 divisions focusing on the individual product ranges:
Engineering Products Division, dealing with products required for water, electricity and agricultural applications;
Fire Equipment Division, dealing with systems for fire fighting, security and communication;
Lighting Division, dealing with solutions for domestic, commercial, industrial and high specification lighting.
Switchgear Division, dealing with low voltage switchgear components and equipment;
Each of the above divisions has its own technical, sales and service teams supported by centralised administration, accounts, personnel, local
purchase and quality assurance departments..
Aikah has its head office in Dubai and branch offices in Deira Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ajman.
