Gulf Concrete & Blocks was established in October 1994. The company has six
fully computerized batching plants with total capacity of 680m3 per hour. Facil ities
include Flake Ice Plants, chiller plants, Silos for Micro sil ica and other special
materials, Laboratory with all major testing equipments including concrete durability
tests, Transit mixers, Mobile concrete pumps, stationary pump for single stage
pumping for high rise bu ildings, Placing Booms, etc.
The company has the distinction of supplying to several prestigious projects of the Ministry of Public Works &
Housing, Ministry of Defense, Federal El ectricity & Water Authority, Ras al Khaimah Government, Public Works
Department of Abu Dhabi, TRANSCO Abu Dhabi as well as all major projects in the private sector.
The company is accredited to Quality Management System since 2000 (ISO 9001 :2008), Environment
Management System (ISO 14001:2004) and Occupational Health Safety Management System (OHSAS
18001 2007) since 2013.
GCB has a large fleet of transit mixers, truck mounted concrete pumps. There are two production centres
currently in Ras al Khaimah(AI Nakheel and Al Jazeerah) and one in UAQ Industrial Area from where we are
capable of delive ring ready mixed co ncrete to the emirates of Ras al Khaimah, Umm al Qwain, Ajman, Fujairah
and parts of Sharjah .
