MEFAB was established in 1989 as a small factory (then known as Modern East Fabrication & Engineering LLC, Rashidiyah) in Dubai with just eight employees. Modern East Fabrication & Engineering, catered to the construction and industrial sector in the beginning and later diversified into the Oil and Gas and Construction Sector.
To upgrade our facilities to international standards Modern East Fabrication & Engineering attained ISO 9000 certification in 2003 and in 2006 we were certified for ASME U stamp for building pressure vessels.
As Modern East Fabrication & Engineering grew with Dubai’s tremendous growth, we relocated and opened a new facility, Mefab Engineering Industry LLC in Dubai Industrial City, with a better and bigger infrastructure to cater to the Middle East market in 2009. The facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified, ASME U and National Board R certified for building and for repairing pressure vessels.
Now MEFAB group has a total strength of 150 employees and functions from a single large facility based in Dubai Industrial City.
MEFAB’s facility is designed to accommodate large and heavy structures. We are conveniently located within The Dubai Industrial City adjacent to the Dubai Abu Dhabi border, with close proximity and easy access to the Jebel Ali Port and to the Al Maktoum International Airport.
We have access to a road network which enables easy transportation of large structures and modules weighing over 500 Ton and our products can easily be transported to Jebel Ali Port and by road to other Middle East Countries.
